Oldham Mountain Rescue Team's three Swiftwater Rescue Technicians (SRTs) Tom Mills, Si Taylor and Lee Briggs all passed their SRT training/certification over the last four days in Llangollen with Amanzi Safety and Rescue Ltd.

OMRT leader Rob Tortoishell said: "Thanks to the Amanzi training team but, more importantly, to these three, who took time out of there personal lives and their work to undertake the training.

"It’s a significant investment from our Team. It gives us a greater capability to help our local community and those further afield when disaster strikes with flood water.”
