Season fixtures confirmed

Fixtures for the forthcoming season in EFL League Two have been released - and Oldham Athletic begin their campaign with a trip to Forest Green Rovers on Saturday, August 3.

New manager Laurent Banide will then make his home debut one week later with a clash against Crewe Alexandra on Saturday, August 10.

Other notable fixtures include a Boxing Day trip to Morecambe, and a New Year's Day home clash against Scunthorpe United.

Latics will also play recently promoted Salford City for the very first time on Sunday, December 29 at Boundary Park, while the reverse fixture at the Peninsula Stadium will take place on Saturday, January 25.

Oldham have also been handed a trip to Championship outfit Blackburn Rovers in the Carabao Cup first round, taking place on the week commencing 12 August.
