New store opens in The Royal Oldham Hospital

Retailer WHSmith has opened a new store at The Royal Oldham Hospital which includes a new range of food from M&S.

It opened for the first time on Thursday (18 March) for patients and staff to use.

Alongside a range of news, books, convenience products and hospital essentials from WHSmith, the new store incorporates a selection of M&S food.

Customers can shop from an extensive range of M&S lines including chilled food and a selection of M&S meals, as well as a choice of Costa Coffee hot drinks.

A spokesperson said: "WHSmith is pleased to have been able to continue to serve and support frontline NHS workers across its hospital stores throughout the pandemic, providing food, drinks and grocery products and increasing support wherever they can to make life a little easier for NHS key workers during these difficult times.

"This has included donating stock, introducing new ranges of essentials and groceries, NHS discounted offers and giveaway events; ensuring they deliver the best service and product proposition they can to support NHS teams throughout this challenging time."

The new WHSmith store in The Royal Oldham Hospital will be open seven days a week - from 7am to 8.30pm Monday to Friday, 8am to 8pm on Saturdays, and 9am to 7pm on Sundays.
