Man assaulted by group of young men in Oldham

Police have issued CCTV images of three young men they would like to speak to in connection with an assault in Oldham in June 2021.

Shortly before 9.40pm on Wednesday 9 June 2021, outside Holy Trinity Church on Church Street East in Oldham, a man in his 40s was approached by a group of young men and then assaulted.

He suffered a broken arm during the incident.

Enquiries are ongoing and no arrests have been made, Greater Manchester Police have said. 

Police Constable Casey, of GMP's Oldham district, said: "This incident caused a great amount of distress to our victim.

"We are following absolutely every line of enquiry available to us to identify the individuals responsible which includes releasing images of three young men we would be interested in speaking to in connection with this crime.

"If anyone has information about this incident or knows who these young men are then please contact police as soon as possible so that we can speak with them."
