Woman sexually assaulted in Chapel

Police have released CCTV footage of a man they want to speak to in connection with an early-morning sexual assault in Chapel, in which a woman was touched on her bottom.

It happened at around 6.30am on Saturday, February 29, on Market Street in the town. 

The man, who was wearing a waist length dark coat with a hood, dark trousers and had skinny legs, touched the woman's bottom and then walked off down Thornbrook Road. 

Nearby CCTV shows a man matching the description of the person crossing the road and, while the footage - which you can watch above - is not clear, it is hoped someone may recognise the build or walk of the person pictured.

Police also want to trace a dog walker seen on the footage who was in the area at the same time.
