The Bureau is keeping coronavirus restrictions in place

The Bureau on Henry Street in Glossop.

The Bureau in Glossop has confirmed that it's keeping its current coronavirus restrictions, despite the change in government guidance.

It means visitors will be asked to wear face coverings whilst in the building on Henry Street, to sanitise their hands and to maintain social distancing from others.

Social distancing measures will also apply for staff and meetings room, so some activities will continue in external venues and most staff will be working from home for part of the week.

A statement on the charity's Facebook page said: "We are doing this to keep our staff, volunteers, clients and the community well. Although the risk of serious illness is low, the case numbers in our area are very high and we want to make sure we can continue to provide our services without interruption.

"Please help us to keep everyone as well as possible by respecting our decision and continuing to wear masks, sanitise and distance."
