School uniform pop-up swap shop in Glossop

A Glossop group will be holding a 'pop-up shop' to allow parents to swap their child's uniforms for the next size up ready for the new academic year in September.

It's been organised by The Hummingbird Hubs, which supports people affected by poverty, homelessness and austerity.

It will take place on Sunday 1 August at the old library at Victoria Hall in Glossop, from 1pm to 4pm.

Everyone is welcome.

There will be everything from pre-school to secondary school uniforms, plus bags, shoes and PE kit - all free. There will also be a free toy and book stall for the children.

Donations of uniform and shoes (clean and in good-as-new condition) before the event will be gratefully received. If you're able to donate, contact Jo Gregory on 07748 067169 or email hummingbirdhubs@gmail.com

There will also be a second uniform event on Sunday 22 August, also at Victoria Hall.
