This weekend sees the return of Glossop-based charity Reuben's Retreat's virtual pet show 'Scrufts' and people are being encouraged to get involved.

The event will be held on the charity's Facebook page on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 June. 

The Best Dressed Dog category will open on Saturday at 11am, followed by The Scruffiest Dog at 2pm. 

Sunday will see the Best Overall which is for all pets big, small, hairy or slimy - not just dogs. 

To take part, people can upload their picture to the post on the day when it goes live on the charity's Facebook page and donate £2 to enter. All proceeds will go to the charity. 

The image with the most likes by 5pm on Sunday will win a prize, so participants can get their family and friends to like their pictures!  

There will be prizes for all three categories.
