Recycle your Christmas tree and raise funds for hospice

A tree surgeon service in the High Peak is recycling Christmas trees to help raise money for Blythe House Hospicecare.

Simon Dowell and his colleagues from SNS Trees are starting their campaign in aid of hospice care this weekend.

The team will be picking up trees on Saturday (9 January), as well as the next three Saturdays in January: 16th, 23rd and 30th.

Collections – for a suggested minimum donation of just £10 – can be made from Chapel-en-le-Frith, Whaley Bridge, New Mills, Chinley, Buxworth, Hayfield, Little Hayfield and Tunstead Milton.

To arrange a collection, call or text ‘Christmas tree’ with your name and address to 07494 072082.

Chapel-based Blythe House Hospicecare offers free, individualised, holistic care and support for anyone in the High Peak living with cancer or other serious, life-limiting illness. Find out more via their website https://blythehousehospice.org.uk/
