Police are appealing to residents in Padfield and Hadfield to be 'careful and considerate' when parking in the area.

The message from Glossop Police Safer Neighbourhood Team on Friday (7 January) comes as vehicles parking at three junctions are causing 'major issues' for large HGVs.

The junctions are Padfield Main Road/Temple Street; Temple Street/Platt Street; and Padfield Main Road/Brosscroft.

A Glossop Police SNT spokesperson is reminding residents that vehicles should not be parked within 10 metres (or 32 feet) of or opposite a junction.
