Police are appealing for information after yet another incident of anti-social behaviour in Hadfield.

Glossop Police Safer Neighbourhood Team say they received a report that a person or persons unknown 'banged loudly on a window for no known reason' at a house on Church Street.

It happened at around 9.55pm on Tuesday evening (31 August), close to St Andrew's Church.

Police say the occupant of the house was alarmed to the extent they thought the window was broken, but no damage was caused.

It is believed that the force used caused injury to the hand of the person responsible as blood was left on the window.

Officers are therefore asking parents if their son or daughter came home with a cut to their hand on Tuesday night.

Anyone with any information that can identify those responsible or has CCTV or dash cam footage in the area is asked to contact Derbyshire police by calling 101 or reporting it online at https://www.derbyshire.police.uk/contactus, quoting incident 1287 of 31/08/21 for the attention of Hadfield SNT.
