Police appeal after car damaged in Gamesley

Police are appealing for information after a collision in which a parked car was damaged in Gamesley.

At around 8.50pm on Thursday 22 July, a small silver car is reported to have crashed into a silver Ford Focus, which was parked outside a house in Bonsall Bank.

Following the incident, the driver of the small silver car failed to stop.

Police believe a couple of people may have witnessed the collision and are keen to speak with them.

One is described as a man wearing a blue t-shirt talking on his mobile phone who was seen walking nearby, and another is a taxi driver who is believed to have been in the area shortly after the incident.

Anyone with any information, or who may have captured dash cam or CCTV footage, is asked to contact police, quoting reference number 21*414439.

Anyone who has footage that may be useful is asked to ensure it is securely downloaded to another device and kept safely for officers to view.
