Glossop Police Safer Neighbourhood Team say it happened sometime between 9am on Thursday 26 August and 3pm on Sunday 29 August.

Anyone who can assist with their enquiries, witnessed the incident or knows the identity of those responsible is asked to call 101 or report it online at https://www.derbyshire.police.uk/contactus, quoting occurrence reference 21000502609 and the officer in the case PCSO 4416 Morris.

A Glossop Police SNT spokesperson said: "This is the second such report at the cemetery and as you can appreciate these incidents have caused much distress and anguish to those families involved."
