New chapter begins at High Peak's libraries

Libraries in the High Peak have opened up, with staff reporting a busy few days so far. 

Social distancing is being observed at all of Derbyshire County Council's libraries and there are hand sanitiser points throughout.

You can keep up to date with what's happening at the borough's libraries, including the latest opening hours, on the county council website.  

The borough's eight libraries are located in: 

  • Glossop (Talbot Road)
  • Gamesley (Grindleford Grove) 
  • Hadfield (Station Road)
  • Chapel-en-le-Frith (Market Square) 
  • Hayfield (Kinder Road)
  • Buxton (Kents Bank Road)
  • New Mills (Hall Street)
  • Whaley Bridge (Market Street)
