MP's face-to-face advice surgeries to restart

Local MP Robert Largan has confirmed that his open-air street surgeries will restart this month.

Those attending are requested to wear a face mask and respect social distancing restrictions.

The surgery dates, times and locations are as follows:

· Saturday 17 April, 10:30am – 12:00pm, 18 Market Street, Whaley Bridge, SK23 7LP

· Saturday 24 April, 10:30 am – 12:00pm Glossop Town Hall Arcade, 6 Market St, SK13 8AP

· Saturday 1 May, 10:30am – 12:00pm, Buxton Town Hall, SK17 6DZ

· Saturday 8 May, 10:30am – 12:00pm, Morrisons, Market Street, Chapel-en-le-Frith, SK23 0HY

The Conservative MP's Whaley Bridge constituency office will also re-open in a Covid-secure way from Monday 12 April.

The office opening times are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (apart from Wednesday when the office closes to visitors at midday).

Robert Largan said: “I’m really glad that my weekly face-to-face help and advice surgeries are able to re-start.

“My team and I have been working around the clock throughout the crisis, taking up over 21,000 individual cases on behalf of local people and responding to over 40,000 emails, but it’s great to be able to see constituents face-to-face again. I look forward to seeing people in person and doing what I can to help.”
