MP calls for urgent meeting on changes to bus services

High Peak’s MP Robert Largan is seeking an urgent meeting with High Peak Buses to discuss changes coming into effect from 10th July. 

The 199 service will no longer run from Buxton to Manchester Airport in the evenings instead terminating in Stockport. 

The MP said: “Since being elected, I have consistently campaigned for better bus services in the High Peak. 

“This is a step in the wrong direction, timed perfectly to disrupt local people’s holiday plans.”
