Concern has been raised by residents of Coombes Lane in Charlesworth over what they describe as 'activity' in the mill yard.
The parish council say they are trying to find out who owns the property, who is using it and for what purpose.
The lane is unadopted so any damage to the surface from large vehicles will be the responsibility of the residents to repair.
Other issues raised at the council’s latest monthly Zoom meeting include:
- Donations from Cllr George Wharmby and Derbyshire County Council mean that conifers between St George’s Church and the school on Long Lane can now be safely removed.
- The redundant red telephone box at the bottom of Town Lane had been formally adopted by the parish council who are contacting BT to see if the electricity supply is still connected. A future use for the box has still to be determined.
The council has also paid tribute to the late Pat Ashworth, a former member for 13 years and a past chairman.
