Man seen trying to break in to house in Glossop

Police are appealing for information after a man was seen trying to force his way into a house in Glossop. 

It happened at around 3.55pm on Monday afternoon (July 27). 

The man was seen on the balcony at the rear of a property on Woodhead Road, on the way up to Cemetery Road. 

It is believed he broke the lock on the balcony doors before making off. 

He's described as white, 6ft tall, in his mid 20s to early 30s, with strawberry blonde hair, of skinny build and wearing a black hoodie, black jeans and black boots with a black scarf pulled up around his face. 

Police want to hear from anyone who saw a man matching this description in or around the area at the time, or if you have any CCTV which may have caught any suspicious activity around the time in that area.
