Local charity to hold fun-filled Halloween event

Halloween may be a bit different this year but a Glossop-based charity has organised some spooky fun for all the family to enjoy.

Families looking for something safe to do during the October half term are being invited to take part in a Creepy Crawl event run by Reuben's Retreat.

From 24 to 30 October, people can visit Howard Park to look for spooky signs which reveal a secret word and complete the charity's scavenger hunt to be in with a chance of winning some terrific treats.

It's £5 to enter, with all proceeds going to Reuben's Retreat - which supports families bereaved of a child and families of children with a life limiting and life threatening illness.

You can find out more about the event here: https://www.reubensretreat.org/product/halloween-creepy-crawl-scavenger-hunt/

In line with government guidelines, people must only take part in groups of up to six people and with members of their own household.
