Glossop's monthly litter picking community group is getting together for the first 'Big Pick' of 2022 this weekend and local residents are being invited to join them.
The group was founded in 2019 by local councillors, The Bureau and residents wanting to make a difference to where we live.
The monthly 'Big Picks' - which have been suspended since the start of the pandemic - are also an opportunity for a brew, a biscuit and a natter afterwards.
Weather permitting, the first community clean-up of the new year will be on Saturday (15 January).
Anyone who wants to take part should meet the group outside The Bureau on Henry Street in Glossop town centre at 10am.
All equipment will be provided.
