Hospice's festive fundraiser is going ahead with a difference

High Peak's Blythe House Hospicecare will be holding its annual Jingle Bell Jog this year but it will be slightly different to usual.

Normally, hundreds of adults and children would come together donning their Santa suits and other fancy dress to take part in the event which raises thousands of pounds for the Chapel-based hospice.

But such are the challenging times we're experiencing amid the coronavirus pandemic, Blythe House has had to adapt how the festive fundraiser will run.

The hospice is instead inviting people to run, walk, dance, prance, jog or jingle a 5k route of their choice at 10am on Sunday 6 December - and see how many Santas they can spot from a distance along the way.

Entry includes a Santa suit for adults or a Santa hat for children.

For more information, and to register for the event, visit www.jinglebelljog.org.uk

Blythe House provides free care and services to anyone in the community affected by life-limiting illnesses.
