Hospice issues plea to donators

Blythe House Hospicecare is asking people not to leave donations outside its shops across the High Peak during lockdown.

The Chapel-based hospice has had to close its charity shops again in New Mills, Chapel and Buxton, as well as its department store in Whaley Bridge, until at least 2 December in line with government rules.

The hospice said: "We politely ask that you do not leave donations outside, as they may get wet or damaged. We'll be back as soon as we're allowed to!

"Until then, please keep your kind donations in your warm, dry home. Thank you for your ongoing support."
