Have a say on polling review

Image: Nigel Wood.

High Peak electors have until 23 September to have their say in a review of polling districts, polling places and polling stations across the region.

The review covers the arrangements under which the area is divided into polling districts, as well as the polling places which are provided in each district.

It covers the area governed by High Peak Borough Council and the parliamentary constituencies of High Peak which fall within it. Reviews are carried every four years.

The council is asking residents to have their say.

Comments from people with expertise in access to premises or facilities for people with dis-
abilities are also welcomed.

Comments are also invited on the existing scheme and, if appropriate, suggested changes to polling district boundaries or alternative polling places.

A questionnaire can be accessed on the council’s website by clicking here and completed forms must be returned by September 23.

Forms can be emailed to elections@highpeak.gov.uk or posted to: Electoral Services, HPBC, Buxton Town Hall, Market Street, Buxton SK17 6EL.
