Glossop Pony Club youngsters help tidy up the town

Youngsters from the Glossop branch of The Pony Club got their hands dirty by taking time out of their weekend to help clean up the town centre.

The dedicated group went out on Sunday morning (25 July) to pick up litter from a number of streets in Glossop, as well as near the Glossop Brook river close to Tesco.

A spokesperson from Glossop Pony Club said: "We said hello to the public as we walked around the community collecting the rubbish.

"We are a small branch of The Pony Club, consisting of members from surrounding areas who not only love ponies but always enjoy meeting members of the public on our many fundraising days."
