Glossop Market Hall plans to go back before councillors

Glossop Market Arcade.

Changes to Glossop Market Hall go back before High Peak's Development Control Committee on Monday (6 June).

The proposals include the installation of a new mezzanine, stairwells, and retail units at ground and mezzanine floor level.

A new access ramp as well as a replacement lift are included in the plans as well as the general refurbishment of the arcade area and the prevision of improved toilet facilities.

The application was due to be determined by the committee last month, however councillors took the decision to defer for a site visit and give time for the outstanding detailed information to be provided.

The meeting will be held at the Pavilion Gardens in Buxton on Monday 6 June at 1.30pm.

The application is recommended for approval subject to 25 conditions.
