Glossop community comes together to sing carols

People enjoyed Christmas carols at a community event in Norfolk Square in Glossop.

The Whitfield Parish of St James’ and St Luke’s Church organised the festive singalong on Wednesday, December 15, at 6.30pm and said the event was a ‘really special occasion for the community to celebrate Christmas together.’

The Dark Peak Brass Band lead the music, and children from St Luke’s CE Primary School and St James’ CE Primary School performed.

Local businesses also sold refreshments - including mulled wine, pizza, strudel, boozy hot chocolate and Bratwurst rolls.
