Get involved in Glossop's Christmas celebrations

With less than 100 days until the big day, Christmas is starting to come into focus for people across Glossopdale.

With that in mind, Glossop's Christmas Market is on Saturday 23 November this year - alongside the town's anticipated Christmas light switch-on.

In preparation, Glossop market traders are looking for enthusiastic people, such as traders and artists, to join them for the event.

Suzanne Williamson, 33, who owns Narnia Furniture and Homewares within the indoor market, said: "We are looking for someone who does events serving unusual food and drink, for example themed cup cakes or alcoholic beverages such as cocktails etc.

"We are also looking for people to perform on the day, so if you have any talents such as singing or dance groups, drama groups or comedians then please get in touch to use this platform as a good way of advertising what you do."

To get involved or if you would like to talk about what you have to offer, you contact traders via the Glossop Market Facebook page.
