Free transport to High Peak Jobs & Apprenticeships Fair

Free coach transport has been made available for the High Peak Jobs & Apprenticeships Fair being held in Chapel-en-le-Frith on Friday 29 October.

Over 40 locally and nationally recognised employers will be exhibiting at the free event at Chapel-en-le-Frith High School from 10am until 2pm.

There will also be a job skills workshop run by The Zink Project, apprenticeships advice for pupils and parents, Interview & CV-Writing Skills from Buxton & Leek College, impartial adult careers advice from Derbyshire County Council and a Kickstart stall offering placements at a range of employers.

More than 100 free transfers will be available on a first come first served basis on two coaches one running from Buxton and the other from Glossop.

A coach will leave Buxton Market Place at 9:30am and pick up at Dove Holes Bus Depot at 9:40am. A second coach will leave Glossopdale School at 9:30am stopping at Henry Street at 9:35am and Union Road, New Mills at 9:50 am. Both coaches will return from Chapel-en-le-Frith High School at 2pm.

The free coaches have been secured by High Peak MP Robert Largan, who has organised the event.
