People can register their interest for face-to-face and online sessions in maths and English starting in September, which are being delivered by Derbyshire Adult Education.
There are courses for local residents who want to brush up their skills, improve their employment opportunities or achieve qualifications that evaded them at school.
From September, maths and English GCSE and Functional Skills qualifications will also be offered.
The courses are free for the vast majority of people, regardless of income, and will be offered in a number of centres - where you will attend one session a week - or live online.
A free creche is available when attending a class at Glossop Adult Education Centre on Talbot Street.
