Flower crown workshop in Hadfield

Glossop-based Norris Floristry is partnering with The Craft Barn in Hadfield, for a flower crown workshop on Saturday (15 August).

Closed during the Covid-19 lockdown, the arts and crafts venue off Station Road is set to reopen with lots to look forward to in the coming months.

Saturday’s opener, from 2pm to 4pm, sees designer florist Anja Norris share her expertise in creating summer flower crowns.

The session begins with a glass of fizz, followed by an informative introduction to summer flowers and then the chance to make a flower crown with beautiful natural materials provided.

Attendees will not only go home with their crown, but also with the knowledge of how to make crowns for any season of the year.

Anja said: “In many cultures, flower crowns are worn at celebrations throughout the year and making them is such a satisfying and fun process.

“So, whether you fancy making crowns to wear, using them as table decorations, or giving as gifts for special occasions, this workshop is one you won’t want to miss.”

Admission is ticket only. For information go the Norris Floristry Facebook page, by emailing hello@norris.store, or calling 01457 338003.
