Film nights to return at Glossop church

Central Methodist Church on Chapel Street in Glossop.

A new season of monthly film nights at Central Methodist Church in Glossop begins next month.

It starts on Friday 2 September at 7pm with The Railway Children Return, starring Jenny Agutter, John Bradley, Sheridan Smith and Tom Courtenay.

The film is about a group of children who are evacuated to a Yorkshire village during the Second World War, when they encounter a young soldier who, like them, is far away from home.

Tickets are £6 and are available from the church's Friday coffee mornings and Dark Peak Books on High Street West. To reserve a ticket, you can call 01457 860206.
