Egg-citing Easter fundraisers to support Glossop charity

Easter is on the horizon and Glossop-based charity Reuben's Retreat has organised a couple of fun fundraising activities.

Chocolate lovers could get their hands on a handcrafted chocolate Easter hamper worth £30.

All you have to do is enter the draw online for just £2 by visiting the charity's website.

Each raffle ticket purchased gives you one chance to win but people can buy as many tickets as they like.

The raffle draw will take place at 12pm on 30 March.

Meanwhile, people can also join in an egg-citing virtual Easter balloon race.

Entrants can design their own balloon, leave a message and watch it race others to see if it will be crowned the winner.

Balloons cost £5 each and there will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.

People can enter at https://www.balloonrace.com/reubenseaster

The winners will be announced on Easter Sunday (4 April).

Proceeds from both activities will go to the local charity, which supports families bereaved of their child and families whose child faces an uncertain future.
