CCTV appeal after alleged robbery at New Mills shop

Police have issued a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to in connection with an alleged robbery at a shop in New Mills. 

At around 2.30pm on Tuesday (4 May), a man was reported to have entered the Go Local Extra store on Albion Road. He threatened staff and demanded money.

The man then made off with an amount of cash in the direction of Swizzles and Torr Vale Mill.

Officers are appealing for anyone who may have been in the area at the time who may have seen the incident, recognises the man pictured, or saw anything suspicious to get in touch.

Anyone with information should quote reference number 21*244568, and the name of the officer in the case DSI Georgina Kirk, using the following methods:
