Bike stolen as two sheds in Birch Vale broken into on same night

Police are appealing for witnesses after two sheds were broken into on the same night on the same road in Birch Vale - with a bike stolen from one of them. 

A black and grey Orbea MX 50 Hardtail mountain bike was taken from a shed on Hayfield Road on Sunday 22 November between midnight and 8am. 

The reference number is 20000618113. 

Meanwhile, between 1am and 1.10am, another shed in the back garden of a semi-detached house had the glass carefully removed from the window. 

The offender was searching the shed when they were disturbed by the owner and fled without stealing anything.
