Stalybridge clinic has re-opened its doors

Davenport House Clinic in Stalybridge has reopened its doors to offer podiatry and physiotherapy services.

The clinic on Cheetham Hill Road, which opened its doors in 2008, offers chiropody and podiatry services, physiotherapy and sports massages for people across Tameside and Greater Manchester.

With more businesses entering a new normal, the team at Davenport House say they have ensured that all safety measures are in place to guarantee peace of mind for anybody visiting the clinic for treatments.

All clinical staff will wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and masks are available for patients who do not have their own face covering.

They add that the reception area has been fitted with protective screens, with appointments staggered to maintain social distancing as well as facilitating extra cleaning of communal areas and treatment rooms.

With many people still shielding, the clinic will also be offering online telehealth consultations for all those who cannot visit Davenport House in person.

Tony Gavin, MD at Davenport House Clinic, said: "It's been a difficult time for us all and we have maintained regular contact with our patients throughout lockdown offering advice for at-home care.

"However, there is no substitute for face-to-face appointments to get the best outcomes for patients and we are looking forward to welcoming people back to the clinic.

"We understand that many people are feeling anxious about the easing of lockdown but we want to assure all of our patients that every step has been taken to ensure safety for all when visiting Davenport House.

"We continue to adhere to guidelines as and when they are released and will continuously review procedures over the coming months."
