High Peak Buses have introduced additional journeys on some routes for key workers and essential journeys to shops.
Although a reduced service is in operation on most routes during the coronavirus lockdown, the extra services will help people travelling from Buxton to New Mills and Glossop on the 61 bus.
An earlier journey southbound from Glossop to Hayfield has been added, which will connect with the 60 bus from Hayfield to New Mills to allow through travel beyond Hayfield.
There is also earlier and later journeys between Buxton, Chapel and Whaley Bridge on the 199 bus, as well as an earlier first journey from Manchester Airport and Stockport to Buxton, and an extra early morning journey from Buxton to Stockport and the airport.
Operations Manager, Nikos Ntalampiras commented: "I am very pleased to introduce the additional journeys on routes 60, 61, 199, 390 and 442 following feedback from customers.
"We always want all of our customers and every one of our colleagues to be safe and well, particularly when working and travelling with us.
"Our drivers, engineers, cleaners, dispatch staff, customer services colleagues and the rest of the frontline team are working hard and continue to do a fantastic job for you and for us under ever-changing circumstances."
