Boots have announced they are limiting the number of items people can buy of certain products amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The health and beauty retailer and pharmacy chain, who have a number of stores in our area, say they are taking such action due to unprecedented demand to ensure everyone can still access essentials.
It says in a statement: "To our customers, as we're sure you can understand, we've seen unprecedented demand across many of our ranges and to ensure all of you have an opportunity to purchase them we'll be limiting the number of sales on certain products.
"To help everyone have access to the essentials, we're limiting the sales of: products containing paracetamol, pain relief, cough and cold products, children's medicine, thermometers, tissues and wipes, hand sanitisers, soap and handwash, baby milks, baby sterilising and antibacterial products.
"Thank you for your understanding and respecting our colleagues in these unprecedented times. For more advice about coronavirus, please visit boots.com/coronavirus or speak to a member of our team."
