Landlords and property owners across the High Peak are being urged to help the borough council to support an increasing number of people urgently seeking short-term accommodation.
As the coronavirus pandemic escalates and many accommodation providers decide to shut their doors, the council's Housing Solutions team is seeing an exceptionally high demand for support, and is struggling to identify accommodation for those in need.
It is appealing for any local landlord or property owner that has empty accommodation, which is safe and habitable, and could be used as short-term accommodation, to get in touch.
