Stalybridge-based Davenport House Clinic is staying open offering podiatry and physiotherapy services for new and existing clients throughout the latest lockdown.
The clinic offers chiropody and podiatry services, physiotherapy and sports massage servicing Tameside and the Greater Manchester area.
The team at Davenport House say all safety measures are in place to guarantee peace of mind when attending the clinic for treatments. All clinical staff will wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and masks are available for patients who do not have their own face covering.
The reception area has fitted protective screens with appointments staggered to maintain social distancing as well as facilitating extra cleaning of communal areas and treatment rooms.
The clinic on Cheetham Hill Road is also continuing online telehealth consultations for patients who may be shielding or cannot attend in person.
Tony Gavin, Managing Director, said: "We understand that many people are quite worried that this new lockdown will mean they have to cancel or postpone essential treatment. This is definitely not the case here at Davenport House as we are classed as a health service and will remain open to ensure that all our patients receive the best care they would normally expect to receive.
"We also accept that many people will be feeling anxious about leaving the home for appointments but we want to assure all of our patients that every step has been taken to ensure safety for all when visiting Davenport House.
"We continue to adhere to all guidelines and constantly review our procedures in line with Public Health England protocol. For those who cannot attend, we will endeavour to carry out virtual appointments to guarantee as little disruption to patients as we can while making them feel comfortable during the next couple of months."
