Hear about local services at conference

Residents across Glossop and Tameside are invited to a conference to hear about and contribute to the development of local services throughout the borough.

The Partnership Engagement Network conference will take place on Wednesday, October 16, from 9.30am to 2pm in Hyde Town Hall on Corporation Street.

It's being run by Tameside and Glossop Clinical Commissioning Group, Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust and Tameside Council.

In a statement, they said: "We are committed to working in partnership with the public, stakeholders, partners and organisations in the voluntary, community and faith sectors.

"Ensuring that the public voice and opinion is at the heart of the public sector is key to designing approaches and strategies that meet the needs of our communities.

"The Partnership Engagement Network enables everyone to play an active role in developing the approaches that we take in the delivery and commissioning of services."

The event is free and lunch will be provided at 1pm. Anyone with particular dietary requirements is asked to email pen@tgh.nhs.uk in advance.

Community groups and interested individuals are encouraged to attend the conference but book a place in advance at https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/partnership-engagement-network-conference-16th-october-2019-tickets-72246821187
